January 26, 2010 Part 1 is recommended as a prerequisite for this class.
Editing may not be the most glamorous part of multimedia creation, but it is arguably one of the most interesting. Once you see what these powerful editing tools can you, it may stir the creative juices within. In this session, you will:
• Become acquainted with Final Cut Express’ layout and tools
• Integrate still photographs, video and audio into a multimedia presentation
• Set up and organize your multimedia projects
• Use editing tools to perform essential editing techniques
3) Multimedia for Olympus E-P1/E-P2 Photographers: Finishing and Output
February 2, 2010 Part 1 & 2 are recommended prerequisites to this class.
Round out your multimedia training by learning how to polish and post your multimedia presentation. Taking the time to make these small but significant adjustments to your presentation will pay dividends. Your finished product will be styled, professional and ready for integration with blogs and Web sites. In this session, learn to:
• Add titles and transitions to your project
• Improve audio quality with post-processing

1) Building a Lightroom Workflow: Importing and Editing

First, get an overview of Adobe Lightroom and its inner workings. Then, gather tips on importing and editing your photos into Lightroom so you can get to work right away. In this session, learn to:
• Set up and structure your Lightroom catalogs for the greatest safety and portability
• Effortlessly import your photos into Lightroom from your memory card and your hard drive while having your photos renamed and your metadata applied
• Quickly edit photos to discover the best images from the shoot
• Manage collections of photos within Lightroom for quick access to frequently used images
2) Building a Lightroom Workflow: Image Corrections
March 18, 2010
While digital cameras advance by leaps and bounds with every new generation, they still cannot capture the rich color and depth seen by the human eye. Luckily, programs like Adobe Lightroom give you the ability to edit your photos so your finished product will truly reflect the scene as you saw it. In this Happy Hour Webinar, learn to:
• Caption and keyword your files so you can find them quickly and easily, by subject, location and/or date
• Use the image correction commands available to you in Lightroom to correct color, lightness and contrast
• Convert your color images to rich black-and-white images
• Batch correct your photos by applying your changes to multiple images with only a few mouse clicks
• Perform selective corrections to highlight specific areas within your photos.
3) Building a Lightroom Workflow: Advanced Corrections

After perfecting the look of your photo on-screen, you will often need to perform a few additional steps to prepare your images for printing or Web publication. In this session, learn to take complete control over the contrast, sharpness and focus of your photos. To give your workflow a final boost, you’ll learn how to capture these corrections in Presets and quickly apply them to subsequent images for even faster post-processing. You’ll also learn how to integrate Lightroom with Adobe Photoshop or Photoshop Elements for maximum image processing power. In this Happy Hour Webinar, learn to:
• Artfully adjust the contrast of your photos using the Tone Curve panel
